A New Deal for Tenants Report
This report is being launched in September. The report assesses the extent of inequality between social housing tenants and home owners and recommends ways in which levels of well-being might be improved in social housing by creating a ‘quasi-equity share’ account for all existing tenants to increase asset ownership in the sector without requiring tenants to move into unsustainable home ownership. |
Equal Lives Report
The focus of the report is inequalities in health experienced by Birmingham’s Asian communities in terms of mortality and morbidity rates, life expectancy and access to health services. The report maps such inequalities against the backdrop of socio-economic and multiple deprivation and the role of geographical communities and communities of interest in the creation and perpetuation of inequalities in health. To be launched in September. |
